FRGRNC is a young perfume manufactory from Newcastle, England.
The Name FRGRNC is comprised of the first letters of the founders' first names "Francesca" and "Grace" and the acronym of their hometown Newcastle, which together read as the word "fragrance", hinting towards the company's core business.
In our brand strategy workshop with the client we established their ideal customers as being 25 to 40 years old, upper middle class people, who are eager to support local vendors rather than big corporations.
Therefore the brand should feel modern and "unestablished". However, the customers should not get the feeling that in supporting the local vendor, they are making concessions in terms of quality and standard. Thus for the brand identity we combined a classic font with clean, modern shapes and a minimalist color scheme.
